Our story

The firm was created in 2017 by Sophie Vermeille, who is also the founder of the research institute Droit & Croissance, whose work is dedicated to the economic analysis of law. This economic approach to the rule, shared by all the firm’s lawyers, allows us both to structure our clients’ transactions as closely as possible to their economic and financial needs and to proactively contribute to the development of their investment strategies, for which the rule of law often plays a key role.

A small structure

Our trainees and associates are empowered and involved in all aspects of our business.

A multidisciplinary team

Each lawyer in the firm has an extremely diverse range of skills. This versatility is one of the strong distinguishing marks of our firm.

Strategic accounts

Each year, we act on some of the most high-profile and complex listed investment, arbitrage, and activism cases in Paris. We also advise investors and companies on their transactions, both structured and unstructured.

International clients

We act for European, British, and American clients and we systematically look at the local legal regime of our clients to be able to explain the main differences between French law and theirs.

Attractive working conditions

Our trainees and associates enjoy both the advantages of larger firms, with very competitive remuneration and high-profile cases, and the advantages of smaller firms, due to their strong involvement in handlings of cases, their participation in the management of client relations, their proximity to the team and the absence of mechanical and repetitive tasks inherent in our activity. We are also very flexible in terms of working conditions and place great emphasis on training.
