Created by Sophie Vermeille, who is also founder of the think tank Droit & Croissance, whose work is dedicated to Law & Economics, the firm is distinguished by an economic approach to the rule of law, shared across all its members.
We do not view an internship as a mere observation period, but as a genuine intellectual training experience.
Before joining the firm, interns receive a structured preparation guide, including a progressive reading program covering core subjects (law of obligations, civil procedure, company law) as well as the more specialized areas that form the core of our practice (financial law, securities law, accounting). The objective is to provide them with the conceptual framework and technical vocabulary necessary to be effective from the outset.
We conduct regular follow-ups on reading progress and organize discussions to ensure that fundamental concepts are properly understood. The goal is not encyclopedic knowledge, but the development of sound legal reasoning and methodological rigor.
Students who wish to draft a thesis or research paper prior to joining the firm may benefit from methodological supervision, including guidance on topic selection, structure, sources, and analytical coherence.
We are also particularly attentive to the use of artificial intelligence tools. We encourage their use as research and productivity aids, but we train our interns to understand their limits: systematic verification of sources, careful checking of citations, and strict intellectual discipline. AI may assist research — it cannot replace legal reasoning or professional responsibility.
Our ambition is clear: to train lawyers who think independently, reason rigorously, and develop strong legal culture and critical judgment.
